Applying ColdFusion permissions
Step by step guide on applying ColdFusion permissions to site files.
There are times when you may need to apply ColdFusion permissions to your site files. This documentation serves as a step-by-step guide for applying these permissions to your site files on your xByte Cloud servers.

Navigate to the folder that you want to apply permissions to.

Right-click on the folder and select properties.

Select the Security tab and then click Edit .

Click on Add, which is located right underneath the group and user names list**.**

Enter the ColdFusion service user into the empty field, then click Check Names, then click OK.
NOTE: You can find the ColdFusion service user by opening Service in Windows, then you would look for the ColdFusion service and find the Logon user.
- Make sure all necessary permissions are checked and then click Apply( This will apply the permissions to all the files in the folder), then click OK.
