2. Read over the details in the information icon next to the “Update ColdFusion” button. The same details are provided below in the “ColdFusion Updates & Support Options” drop-down for ease of reference.

   ColdFusion Updates & Support Options

   ColdFusion updates are critical to maintaining the security and stability of your environment by reducing exposure to known vulnerabilities. Our goal is to provide flexible update options that align with each customer’s operational needs.

   We currently offer the following update methods:

   (1) Standard Support Customers

   Customers with our default Standard Support plan may run ColdFusion updates at any time by executing the commands provided on this page (see update instructions).

   Important Considerations Before Running Updates:

   • Any issues related to the update will be addressed during normal business hours.
   • Please carefully review the official release notes to ensure no code changes or compatibility adjustments are required before applying the update.
   • If the update fails, our team will be automatically notified and will address the issue during normal business hours.
   • Prefer our engineers to perform the update for you?
     This service is available for a one-time fee of $95 per released update.
     To take advantage of this service and schedule the update, email [email protected]. Updates will be scheduled during our next maintenance window at 10:00 PM CT.

   (2) MSaaS & Enterprise Plus Customers

   Customers with MSaaS or Enterprise Plus Support may schedule updates directly through our update form in the portal. Our system automatically detects if your account includes one of these support packages.

   If you believe your account qualifies but are unable to schedule the update, please contact [email protected].

   Important Considerations Before Scheduling Updates:

   • Review the official release notes to confirm no code modifications are required.
   • If the automated update process encounters an issue, our on-call engineers will be alerted to address and reapply the update.
   • If you require post-update testing due to custom code or dependencies on external services:
     1. Complete the update scheduling form.
     2. Email [email protected] with specific testing instructions or validation steps.
     3. There is a 1x fee of $50 per update.
     4. Our engineering team will perform testing based on the details you provide.
   

3. Click the “Update ColdFusion” button once you’re ready to start the update. A pop-up will appear to make sure it wasn’t an accidental click. Click “OK” to proceed with the update.
   

   

4. As the update proceeds, you can monitor its status at the top of the “ColdFusion Updates” box. Please be patient with the updates; they can take up to 5 minutes to complete.
   

   

5. Once the update finishes, you’ll receive another pop-up with the completion status. Clicking “OK” will refresh the page. This finalizes the update process.
